Emergency Withdrawal
 

At some point in your academic journey, you may experience an emergency situation. At SNHU, an emergency is generally considered an extenuating circumstance, such as the death of a family member or an unexpected hospitalization. If this happens to you, an emergency withdrawal may be an option.

To be considered for an emergency withdrawal, you will need to submit supporting documentation. For example, if a family member passes away, you may be able to submit an obituary or death certificate. In the case of a hospitalization, you may be able to provide a doctor's note or hospital discharge paperwork.

Every situation is unique, and the dispute team will review your documentation and determining whether an emergency withdrawal can be approved.
