Transferring Sophia Credits to SNHU

You can transfer your Sophia Learning credits in one of two ways:

1) You can order an official Sophia transcript via Parchment. There is a fee for ordering it. Since there is a fee, I would recommend waiting until you have completed several courses before ordering a transcript. 

 

Allow up to 1-2 weeks for the transfer credits to appear on your academic record.

2) You can transfer your Sophia credits via Credly. Using Credly is the more economical option, since it's free!! To learn how to set up a Credly account and use it to transfer Sophia credits, please view the video HERE.

Your Sophia transcript should be sent to cocedocs@snhu.edu.

Be advised that the application of transfer credits to your academic evaluation may differ from your initial expectations. For example, a course such as PHL-212 - Introduction to Ethics, initially pursued to fulfill a general education requirement, may ultimately be allocated to the electives section.
